A German singer attends a jazz music event organized by Kochi Metro
Kochi: Famous German jazz artist Stephanie Lottermoser performed at a jazz music night organized by Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and Goethe-Zentrum on Sunday evening in Kochi. This was set up to support German artists.
Other jazz musicians besides Stephanie Lottermoser who performed at the musical event included Alex Eckert, Achim Seifert and Silvan Strauss.
One of Germany’s best-known jazz performers is Stephanie Lottermoser. She has created her own musical language through the fusion of saxophone playing and singing with her jazz, soul, funk and pop influences.
A non-profit German cultural organization with a global network, Goethe-Zentrum is one of the organizers of the program and is active in promoting the German language outside of Germany. In Kerala, it has two locations – Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
